On Monday 21/10/2024 students from the Gymnasium of Moudros “Argirios Moschidis” on the island of Lemnos, Greece had the chance to discover the exciting world of Science (and especially Advanced Materials). With the guidance of Kostas Giannakopoulos Researcher of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (at the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, Greece) they discussed how science forms our lives and the exciting new world that opens for us with the exploitation of new Advanced materials. The session lasted 45 minutes, it was organised with the help of “The Tipping Point” (thetippingpoint.org.gr) and was followed by 21 students.
