NCSR Demokritos hosted an educational event for secondary school students from Athens College and the International School of Athens. The participants, two males and two females, engaged in 15 hours of hands-on experiments over five days. They interacted with researchers and technicians in various labs, including Electron Microscopy, NanoMaterials, and Immunochemistry. The event covered three institutes: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Nuclear & Radiological Sciences and Technology, Energy & Safety, and Nuclear and Particle Physics. The students learned about transforming ideas into products and the role of new materials in sustainability.
